October Bridal Wrap-Up: Grateful for Every Single Moment

November 2, 2026by Amanda Zack

October always hits a little differently. The air gets crisp, the leaves turn, and there's this beautiful, bittersweet feeling as the peak of wedding season starts to wind down. It's the time of year I find myself getting genuinely reflective β€” looking back at all the getting-ready rooms, the happy tears, the bridal parties buzzing with excitement β€” and just feeling so, so thankful.

This month brought some truly gorgeous days, and I want to take a moment to share a few of them with you.

This Day, This Glam

I don't always have the words β€” sometimes a look just speaks for itself. This one from October 13th is exactly that. Everything about this day felt right, and honestly? The glam matched the energy perfectly. Soft, elegant, the kind of bridal beauty that makes you stop and smile.

Beautifully captured by @elfredadalbyphoto β€” her work is always stunning and I'm so grateful every time our paths cross on a wedding day. See this look on Instagram.

Give Me a High Loose Updo Any Day

Okay, I genuinely love a high loose updo β€” like, it never gets old for me. There's something so effortlessly romantic about it. It's the kind of style that looks like it took five minutes but took real skill and the right eye to pull off beautifully. This October look is a perfect example of why I love what I do.

A Love Letter to the 2026 Wedding Season

I shared this one earlier in the month and I meant every single word. As the rush of the 2026 peak wedding season comes to a steady close, I feel genuinely compelled to just say β€” thank you. To every bride (and couple!) who trusted me with their most important day this year: I don't take that lightly, ever.

This spring, summer, and fall have been pretty awesome β€” busy and beautiful in the best possible way. This particular look was a collaboration I'm so proud of: hairstyling by me, makeup by the incredibly talented @exclusive.makeupbyliz, and photography by the wonderful @daybreakstudiosco. When the whole team clicks like that, magic happens. See this look on Instagram.

There is still so much bridal magic left in 2026 β€” and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings. But pausing to feel grateful for the incredible people I've gotten to work with this season? That part is so important to me. It's a privilege to do this work, and I never want to forget that.
